Investigation in Progress - We are currently investigating a connection issue with Swisscom. This affects SES, AES, and QES signatures, which are performed in the Swisscom TSP. This might also affect the login process.
AES4Biz and A-Trust are not affected by this disruption.
Update 11:50 - It looks like it is getting better, as on more and more connections are successful. Still waiting for feedback from Swisscom Support.
Update 12:16 - Seals and SES seam to have a higher chance of success.
Update 12:48 - Situation improved, failed requests still exist, but below 20%.
Update 12:58 - Looks like everything is back to normal.
We would like to inform you that the ongoing connection issues are yet to be fully understood. We have, however, reached a point where further investigation involving Skribble and Swisscom will be discontinued.
It’s essential to note that the problem specifically impacted only Swisscom AES and QES signatures. In contrast, SES, advanced, and qualified seals, including those provided by GlobalSign and A-Trust, remained directly unaffected. However, these services did experience an indirect impact manifested through a delayed login process, attributed to the routine check for QES enablement for every user during login.
We plan to improve our login process to ensure uninterrupted access, regardless of third-party system issues.
